Bedroom Adventure!

Hey guys, Micah and I had an adventure happen in our room last night! So here is the funny story! (At least funny to me, haha). Last night I tried going to bed a bit early so that I could get a good nights rest for my math test today. Well around 4 am I was woken up to the sound of something scurrying through my bedroom! I first heard it over by our computer desk and then it moved over into our closet. I decided to wake up Micah and I told him that something was in our closet. And of course, the moment I told him that the thing stopped moving around. So being the movie buff that I am, I did the ultimate no no and started walking to the closet. If someone were watching me like a movie I would expect them to say, "You idiot! Dont look in the closet! Something scary is in there!" haha! But yet, I still did it and as I opened the door to our closet my hamster Herbie darted out and started running around our bedroom! So even though we were both half asleep still, Micah and I were running around our bedroom trying to catch this little hamster. Finally Micah was able to catch him and we put him back in his cage and secured the area he escaped from with a couple heavy books. So we went back to bed laughing about our scare and tried to attempt to sleep again. WELL, about an hour later I was woken up again to the sound of Micah yelling! It wasnt a scared yell though, it was loud, but not urgent. So after realizing that he was still asleep I shook him and asked him if he was alright. He told me that he had been dreaming about a fox that kept trying to jump at him so it could be my pet. Apparently, the yelling was from him trying to yell at the fox to scare it away. I laughed to myself and finally went back to bed. So that is my fun adventure we had last night! Im extremely tired this morning, but it totally put me in a great mood! Hopefully it will be a positive for my test taking abilities this evening! haha!

Have a great day!

New update!

Hey everyone, just so you all know, this upcoming Sunday is my branch's primary program! Yay! I am the primary chorister, so its pretty exciting. We only have about 5 or 6 kids who will show up, but its going to be a hit! So if anyone wants to come, you are more than welcome. Its at 9 am, and the directions to our church building are to head south on Sandhill Rd (road that connects UVU and Walmart in Orem) and just keep driving through the round about, all the way until the road curves. And badda boom, the church is right there! haha. It should be really cute, so everyone is welcome!

More news, Micah surprised me a few days ago with buying Rock Band! Its been pretty fun to play. We were laughing yesterday because Micah had me doing the singing parts, and because I've been sick my voice was really funny sounding. Its fun still, even when I sound funny! haha!

And last but not least, last night Micah and I bought a bookshelf and a computer desk for a total of $61! We were really excited to get such an amazing deal, and it made such a difference in our apartment. We are now able to entertain guests and actually have space to eat at the kitchen table (we previously used it as a computer desk). So everyone start scheduling times to come visit, cause we'll love to show off our new space!

Love you all!

Have a great day!

Halloween

Hello friends!
Now that Halloween season has come around, Micah and I have bought our costumes! Haha! We were originally going to be one of the Spartans from 300, and a spartan women, but after costume difficulties, we have changed it to be something incredibly different. We are now 2 police officers from the show Reno 911. Part of the humor in these costumes is neither of us have seen more than a few random episodes, and so we have no idea which character I am. But Micah's costume is for a specific character, so he is the main guy who wears the short gold shorts. We went to one of his office halloween parties this weekend, and our costumes were a huge hit! The party in general was very much outside of my comfort zone, because I'm not used to being at parties where people are drinking. Thankfully no one pressured us to drink and so it was ok, and we were able to have fun.

Now, Micah and his coworker Savanah have put their heads together and are planning another halloween party for this upcoming weekend. This one will be different, because we will be able to invite Our friends, and control whether or not people can drink. I have high hopes for it! We just need to think of a place we can hold it, of if anyone has any ideas, let us know!

With the holidays coming up, also comes weather, which unfortunately, also comes sickness. This past week I have been the lucky holder of a cold/flu, and my symptoms are increasing. Dang. ha ha. Micah has started catching my cold/flu thing as well, which we discovered last night, when he starting sneasing a bunch and getting a runny nose. Hopefully we will both start improving soon, working full time and going to school is no fun when you're sick. If only we could just stay home! ha ha!

Anyway, so there are all the updates for us with this Halloween season. Oh, one more, I bought our first Christmas Tree! Its 3 feet tall, so its going to be perfect for our tiny apartment. And on top of that, it only cost 13 dollars. CRAZY! he he! Love you all, have a great week!

Have a great day!

Lots of different things to say!

Hey everyone,
I know, I know, I am awful for still not posting pictures!!! So so so sorry! I need to just take a few minutes break from work and get my camera out to put them up! haha! Also, I put up Halloween decorations!!! We have a tiny apartment, so I didn't have room for many, but at least a little makes the apt more festive! So here is the new deal, I will take pictures of the apartment, and not only will I finally upload our zoo pictures, but I will also put up pics of the apartment for you! hahaha!

Other than my lack of time, lol, Micah and I have been trying to have fun and work hard to increase our savings. We are blessed that we are able to both work so much right now so we can save for a rainy day. Also, yesterday after work I got the opportunity to do a session in the Provo temple for the first time. The only other temple Ive done a session in is Timpanogos, so it was a real treat to go somewhere new. I liked how intimate it was and the spirit was strong. I felt very much at peace, and it helped strengthen my testimony of the true and everlasting gosple.

Micah is back from his conference in Texas that his work held. While there he was able to pick up some really fantastic tips and it boosted his motivation to get his store top notch. He learned while he was there that if his store can make a certain plan after a couple of months then the company will send him and a guest (me, haha) to Hawaii in April, and they will pay for basically everything except souvineers. SOO, that means that depending on how well his store does over the next little while, we will possibly be staying in Utah longer than expected. So for those of you who don't want us to go quite yet that is good news! haha!

The last bit of news is that I would like to ask for everyone's prayers right now for my Uncle Shawn and the rest of my family. Shawn called my grandparents last week to let them know he will be going into surgery in the next week or two. It is to put a defibrillator into his enlarged heart so that if his heart goes into cardiac arrest then it will be hopefully a good backup to save his life. My grandparents are going to be going down to California where he lives to be there for his surgery. I have already put his name on the prayer roll in the temple, but we could use as many as we can get.

Thanks everyone for being such wonderful friends! I am happy to have each of you in our lives!
Have a great day!
