Hello my friends! The past little while Micah and I have been up to no good! We've just been working our tails off and Micah has added schooling to his workload as well! Our puppy Birdie just loves to tear apart any chew toy we give her and it's actually pretty entertaining! We keep trying to test her skills at chewing by buying toys that seem un-tear-able. So far she has proved us wrong every single time! And now vacuuming my carpet has become a very common task in our home. We still love her tho! Hahaha!
Well Micah and I just celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary on the 21st, CRAZY! It doesn't seem like it has been that long, but apparently I have no sense of time. I have had a blast so far being married to him, and I've got a feeling it's only going to get better from here. We have our own little happy family with our little dog, but maybe kids will come into play in the not so distant future! Haha! You never know!
Micah is still the Gospel Doctrine teacher, and he absolutely loves it. He is really getting his feet planted as to what his style of teaching is, and we even had a lady in the ward bare her testimony about how much she enjoyed his class on Sunday. I am excited with Young Womens, because I planned last week's activity, and apparently it went well because I had two non-member girls come ask if it would be ok if they started coming every week! I about cheered for joy! So they surprised me and showed up to church on Sunday, and then asked if I could start picking them up on Tuesdays. Thankfully they live only 3 min from my house, so it's a quick drive, but I would be willing to go them them even if they lived a half hour from me! They seem to be very interested in the church and they are willing to listen to anything I feel like telling them. I'm very excited if you couldn't tell. :)
I'm extremely happy to have the opportunities I have, and Micah and I are so blessed to be able to live the way we do. It's hectic, but it is always a happy one!
Have a great day!

Waayyy too long
Wow, it has been way too long!!!! The week after the 4th of July I lost the cord to be able to upload pictures to my computer. But I was finally able to borrow one so I can show you guys what we've been up to!!!
As for updates with me and Micah, we have both started very busy schedules. I am working 2 jobs, one at Doctor's Vision Works, and the other at State Farm. Micah is working at Kay Jewelers still, and going to school full time at PCC. Its been pretty crazy not getting to see each other very often, but thankfully we're pushing through it. It will just be nice when we are both graduated and can focus on having a family and working on careers.
I have finally decided what I am going to go to school for, Cosmetology! I always had an eye for Interior Design, but over the last little while I have noticed it doesn't interest me as much as it used to. So through talking with Chelsie, Micah, and my mom, I have decided on doing hair. I am so incredibly excited I can't stand it! I do have to wait to start school though, I'm on a waiting list that will have me start around April-ish. I will be doing the certificate program instead of the degree program, because the school councilor told me that since I already have a degree, I don't need to do the degree program again, and that is a total relief!
Well my little dog Birdie isn't so little anymore! When we first got her she was small enough to walk all the way under our coffee table, but now she is taller than the table. She still wants to be small though, because she likes to sleep under the table. Its pretty cute. A few weeks ago, I was headed to bed when I could hear Birdie smacking her mouth and she started frantically scratching at her own nose and jaw. I tried to figure out what was going on when I discovered she had gotten a hold of one of Micah's pens, and had one of the silver metal pieces jammed in her gums around her teeth. So I grabbed Micah and with his help in restraining her, we were finally able to pry out the metal from her teeth. Poor little thing!!! So I took pictures of it, and thought I would show you guys what my brave little puppy went through.
This Sunday Micah and I were up in Rye for dinner with his family, and we had a huge storm! But after, it had a gorgeous rainbow! And we could see the entire curve, so we took some pictures of it. Here you go!
Have a great day!
