Micah's Family
Hello everyone,
Micah and I have had an adventure the last week. On Sunday of last week, Micah's parents came to visit us for a Thanksgiving dinner on their way through to visit Micah's grandmother in California. Unfortunately, we found out that evening that his grandmother had passed away and that they were holding the funeral within the next couple of days. So Micah and I got time off work and drove his parents the 15 hours out to California for the funeral. When we got there we discovered they moved the funeral date until Wed, and so we had all day Tuesday to spend time with family and share stories about their grandmother. We traveled through the redwood forests and Micah had his first trip to the ocean. We have lots of great pictures, which I will post later when I get a chance. Overall the trip turned into a great experience, the only really badspot was on the drive home and we were delayed 3 hours due to an accident between a semi and a car. Micah's parents are LDS as well, so they were comforted by the fact that their loved one was in a wonderful place, and that we will see her again in the next life. Thank you everyone for all your love and support. We have been blessed with a shower of kindness. Love you all!

Fort Nights!
Hello! Nothing extremely new is going on with us right now. Actually life is rather boring without something to announce! haha, just kidding. But anyway, Micah and I decided to make our own fun. So we built a FORT! haha, I know, anyone who knew either of us as kids know that we both grew up building forts all the time. So basically we are pros now. haha. We did it old school style with the kitchen chairs and a big blanket. Its been really fun, we've slept in it two nights in a row now, and I had the hardest time waking up this morning because I was so comfy! haha!
Other than that we're excited for our friends Bobby and Helena Zenk who are expecting their first child any day now. They will be amazing parents, their kids are extremely lucky to have such kind people to raise them.
Love you all,
Have a great day!

New Niece!
Hey everyone! Great news! My brother's wife Xilvia had their second child Thursday night around 10 pm. A little girl named Mia Nicole Dallon. She arrived weighing 7lbs 6 oz. and she was 20.5 inches long. She came out with a head full of Xilvia's dark hair, and she is absolutely gorgeous. She is a little bit longer than Ashe was when he was born, so she may end up close to his same height! And for you guys who know my brother, and how when he was little his lip quivered when he cried, his new little girl has taken on the same trait. We are all happy that both mother and child are healthy and doing well. I'm actually extremely jealous of Xilvia, after giving birth she looked like a super model. Her hair was all beautiful and she was as gorgeous as could be. I hope that is how I am when I start having kids!

Resumes and Applications!
So I have been scrambling around lately applying for this internship job. Not just any job though, Dream Job! I finally finished and turned in my internship applications to the Denver Zoo last night. I am so excited I can hardly sit still! I hope that because I turned it in about 5 months in advance, they will be impressed. haha! We have a really good feeling about this opportunity and we're keeping our fingers crossed that it will work out for us. Our plan is still the same, we're going to Colorado end of Feb-ish, maybe March. Micah is still planning on doing summer sales, and making us tons of money! lol! We are excited to be in Colorado near family, both of us keep trying to remember its not that far away. haha. Anyway, just thought I would give everyone an update. Love ya all!

Bedroom Adventure!
Hey guys, Micah and I had an adventure happen in our room last night! So here is the funny story! (At least funny to me, haha). Last night I tried going to bed a bit early so that I could get a good nights rest for my math test today. Well around 4 am I was woken up to the sound of something scurrying through my bedroom! I first heard it over by our computer desk and then it moved over into our closet. I decided to wake up Micah and I told him that something was in our closet. And of course, the moment I told him that the thing stopped moving around. So being the movie buff that I am, I did the ultimate no no and started walking to the closet. If someone were watching me like a movie I would expect them to say, "You idiot! Dont look in the closet! Something scary is in there!" haha! But yet, I still did it and as I opened the door to our closet my hamster Herbie darted out and started running around our bedroom! So even though we were both half asleep still, Micah and I were running around our bedroom trying to catch this little hamster. Finally Micah was able to catch him and we put him back in his cage and secured the area he escaped from with a couple heavy books. So we went back to bed laughing about our scare and tried to attempt to sleep again. WELL, about an hour later I was woken up again to the sound of Micah yelling! It wasnt a scared yell though, it was loud, but not urgent. So after realizing that he was still asleep I shook him and asked him if he was alright. He told me that he had been dreaming about a fox that kept trying to jump at him so it could be my pet. Apparently, the yelling was from him trying to yell at the fox to scare it away. I laughed to myself and finally went back to bed. So that is my fun adventure we had last night! Im extremely tired this morning, but it totally put me in a great mood! Hopefully it will be a positive for my test taking abilities this evening! haha!
Have a great day!

New update!
Hey everyone, just so you all know, this upcoming Sunday is my branch's primary program! Yay! I am the primary chorister, so its pretty exciting. We only have about 5 or 6 kids who will show up, but its going to be a hit! So if anyone wants to come, you are more than welcome. Its at 9 am, and the directions to our church building are to head south on Sandhill Rd (road that connects UVU and Walmart in Orem) and just keep driving through the round about, all the way until the road curves. And badda boom, the church is right there! haha. It should be really cute, so everyone is welcome!
More news, Micah surprised me a few days ago with buying Rock Band! Its been pretty fun to play. We were laughing yesterday because Micah had me doing the singing parts, and because I've been sick my voice was really funny sounding. Its fun still, even when I sound funny! haha!
And last but not least, last night Micah and I bought a bookshelf and a computer desk for a total of $61! We were really excited to get such an amazing deal, and it made such a difference in our apartment. We are now able to entertain guests and actually have space to eat at the kitchen table (we previously used it as a computer desk). So everyone start scheduling times to come visit, cause we'll love to show off our new space!
Love you all!

Halloween
Hello friends!
Now that Halloween season has come around, Micah and I have bought our costumes! Haha! We were originally going to be one of the Spartans from 300, and a spartan women, but after costume difficulties, we have changed it to be something incredibly different. We are now 2 police officers from the show Reno 911. Part of the humor in these costumes is neither of us have seen more than a few random episodes, and so we have no idea which character I am. But Micah's costume is for a specific character, so he is the main guy who wears the short gold shorts. We went to one of his office halloween parties this weekend, and our costumes were a huge hit! The party in general was very much outside of my comfort zone, because I'm not used to being at parties where people are drinking. Thankfully no one pressured us to drink and so it was ok, and we were able to have fun.
Now, Micah and his coworker Savanah have put their heads together and are planning another halloween party for this upcoming weekend. This one will be different, because we will be able to invite Our friends, and control whether or not people can drink. I have high hopes for it! We just need to think of a place we can hold it, of if anyone has any ideas, let us know!
With the holidays coming up, also comes weather, which unfortunately, also comes sickness. This past week I have been the lucky holder of a cold/flu, and my symptoms are increasing. Dang. ha ha. Micah has started catching my cold/flu thing as well, which we discovered last night, when he starting sneasing a bunch and getting a runny nose. Hopefully we will both start improving soon, working full time and going to school is no fun when you're sick. If only we could just stay home! ha ha!
Anyway, so there are all the updates for us with this Halloween season. Oh, one more, I bought our first Christmas Tree! Its 3 feet tall, so its going to be perfect for our tiny apartment. And on top of that, it only cost 13 dollars. CRAZY! he he! Love you all, have a great week!
Have a great day!

Lots of different things to say!
Hey everyone,
I know, I know, I am awful for still not posting pictures!!! So so so sorry! I need to just take a few minutes break from work and get my camera out to put them up! haha! Also, I put up Halloween decorations!!! We have a tiny apartment, so I didn't have room for many, but at least a little makes the apt more festive! So here is the new deal, I will take pictures of the apartment, and not only will I finally upload our zoo pictures, but I will also put up pics of the apartment for you! hahaha!
Other than my lack of time, lol, Micah and I have been trying to have fun and work hard to increase our savings. We are blessed that we are able to both work so much right now so we can save for a rainy day. Also, yesterday after work I got the opportunity to do a session in the Provo temple for the first time. The only other temple Ive done a session in is Timpanogos, so it was a real treat to go somewhere new. I liked how intimate it was and the spirit was strong. I felt very much at peace, and it helped strengthen my testimony of the true and everlasting gosple.
Micah is back from his conference in Texas that his work held. While there he was able to pick up some really fantastic tips and it boosted his motivation to get his store top notch. He learned while he was there that if his store can make a certain plan after a couple of months then the company will send him and a guest (me, haha) to Hawaii in April, and they will pay for basically everything except souvineers. SOO, that means that depending on how well his store does over the next little while, we will possibly be staying in Utah longer than expected. So for those of you who don't want us to go quite yet that is good news! haha!
The last bit of news is that I would like to ask for everyone's prayers right now for my Uncle Shawn and the rest of my family. Shawn called my grandparents last week to let them know he will be going into surgery in the next week or two. It is to put a defibrillator into his enlarged heart so that if his heart goes into cardiac arrest then it will be hopefully a good backup to save his life. My grandparents are going to be going down to California where he lives to be there for his surgery. I have already put his name on the prayer roll in the temple, but we could use as many as we can get.
Thanks everyone for being such wonderful friends! I am happy to have each of you in our lives!
Have a great day!

Regular Update
Hello everyone!
So Micah and I have been up to the normal stuff lately. Now that the dental scare is gone we're just dealing with his stupid insurance company. Other than that I am in school taking my last class before I get my AA degree. And I have started working full time at my job. Also, I've been called as the Primary Chorister, and Micah and I get a kick out of the little activities I plan for the kids. Micah is still working at Samuels, and is making some great friends there. We are happy and definitely ready for a bigger apartment, that can be more easily maintained. We have decided to move back to Colorado (except its my first time living there, haha), and we'll most likely be in Pueblo. The time frame of this move will most likely happen in the end of Feb so that Micah has time to train a new manager. We plan on getting out there and finding full time jobs for both of us. With jobs we have in mind, hopefully after a few months of working full time and saving money I will be able to start working part time and get working on decorating our apartment and reading a couple good books. haha! And I am thinking that then when we're all settled in and have a good amount saved we will be able to start thinking about babies. haha! But I still need to run that by Micah, hahaha! Oh did I mention I got a haircut? A friend of our cut it about shoulder length and she did a great job! I posted it for you guys! Thanks for all your love and support everyone, Love you!
Have a great day!

Medical Update
Hello Everyone!
Ok, so here is the update/story of our medical situation. So, about a month ago I went into the dentist to take care of a broken crown, while there the dentist noticed a lump in my lower jaw under my tongue on the right hand side. He told me that it didn't look too serious, but just in case to go to an oral surgeon to get it looked at. We went on our vacation to Colorado, but I set an appointment to get checked out the day after we got home. So I went to visit Dr. Burton here in Orem and he told me that he couldn't tell what it was, but it was most likely a cyst, and he recommended that I go to the hospital for a ct scan to try and get a good look at what was there. So Micah and I went to the Utah Valley Regional Medical Hospital to get the ct scan and it was very calm and low maintenance, everyone was really helpful for us and we were able to get the results within a half hour of the scan. The results came out that I had what was most likely a dentigerious cyst. The next morning, my mom and I drove up to Midvale to see Dr. Stoisch, who is my current oral surgeon because he is under my insurance, where Dr. Burton wasn't, and had a consultation with him. We showed him the scans and he decided to have the surgery in two weeks, on a Wednesday so that Micah could be there on his day off. We also decided to get my wisdom teeth removed at the same time because they were coming in sideways and would start moving into my other teeth. So this past Wednesday, the 23rd, I went in for my surgery, and both Micah and my mom were able to come to support me. Turns out that I did Not have a cyst there, but it was actually a tumor. The doctor tried to remove as much of the tumor as he could, and he is sending it in to be processed and tested. We will find out in 7-10 days what kind it is and what the next step will be. Hopefully all will be good and we wont need to do any further surgery, but it is possible we might have to go in and remove some of the bone and teeth, and worst case is removing a lot of bone and teeth. Either way, we will be able to implant teeth back in in the future. Thankfully this is not life threatening, I wont have to do any kemo or things like that. Micah and I are going back this upcoming Wednesday to do a followup with the doctor and hopefully he will have the results by then. I will try and keep everyone as updated as possible during these next couple of weeks. Thanks for all your love and support!!!!

More updates!
Hello!
So for a current update, everything is going wonderful! My dad is in town visiting for a few days thanks to Uncle Howard! Its been fun spending time with him, we've really missed having him around! On Saturday, I got to spend a bunch of time with him making brownies and going to lunch with Micah. After, Me, Courtney, Brandon, Xilvia, and Ashe (Who is starting to walk all over!!!) all got to go to dinner at Grandpa and Grandpa Dallon's home in Lehi in honor of my dad being in town. Micah wasn't able to come because of work, but we went again on Sunday to have a delicious dinner as always.
As for my new job, I am really enjoying it. I feel like I am catching on quickly and I feel really welcome. I am excited for the future and for the doors it is going to open for Micah and myself.
We are excited because we have made some new friends named Helena and Bobby Zenk. They live in the same apartments as us and so we all are in the same ward. We have had a blast getting to know them and I look forward to the great friendships that are to come.
School this summer is pretty nice, other than a math class, basically I just get to watch a bunch of movie clips for my Humanities class, and spend the next two hours painting. The second half of the semester I will finish painting and Humanities, and begin drawing. I am trying to learn these new artistic skills for a future in interior design. I am not very good yet, but I feel like I am improving, which is all I can ask for! haha!
Thanks for all of your love and support,
Have a great day!

Weekend
Hello!
So this weekend was pretty nice, Micah and I went to the gym on Saturday and worked out. On Sunday we had a blast because my mom and courtney both came over and we had an indoor picnic! We all had sandwiches and koolaid, while we battled it out on Halo. haha! It was really fun! After we all watched Enchanted (basically my favorite movie right now) and just spent the day together. Im looking forward to the rest of the week because I just have 2 more finals and then I am done with this semester! Yay!

New Job!
Hello! Here is an update for you. So on Tuesday night Micah's friend Mark Peterson called to offer me a chance to interview with his company for their Office Adminstrative position. I agreed and the next day we interviewed. The interview went really well, and Im excited to announce that they have offered me a job! I will be getting paid better and I will have a few more hours. Then in the fall when I can go full time I will get another raise plus benefits. Micah and I decided that because of the position and power they are giving me, I will become the Office Mommy. haha! I am really intimated but im really excited for this fun opportunity. Micah is really excited as well, because the office I will be working in is next door to his work. So we will be able to see each other much more! yay!
Have a great day!

School
Good News everyone! Micah and I have tested into the same math class together for school this summer! We were able to convince the professor to let us into her online course and so now we are enrolled to take the class together. Yay!!! I am personally nervous for this class because I have never taken an online course before, but thankfully with the help of my mom and with Micah's determination, we will be successful! Once we finish this class we will both be able to move onto higher math classes and once that is done, I will be able to graduate, and Micah will be started on his degree!
Have a great day!
